Uley village also supports a successful and flourishing playgroup - Uley Under 5's. Strong links are fostered between the playgroup and school, with the children being invited to the school for regular visits during the summer term prior to starting in September.
The playgroup runs every week day morning (except Tuesday) in Uley Village Hall. The morning session runs from 9.15am until 12 noon, and children aged 3 years plus are invited to stay for lunch until 1.00pm. The playgroup also offers a full-day until 3.00pm on a Thursday. Read more...

Uley Primary School is a Church of England School and the education your child receives here will be a Christian one.
We aim to give children an understanding of the beliefs of the Christian faith and an awareness of other religions and teachings.
Our programme of work follows the 'agreed syllabus' for Gloucestershire. Christianity is studied as a major focus along with other world faiths.
We have a daily act of worship for all registered pupils of school age. We see collective worship as an opportunity for the school to explore together community and Christian values.
Every term a service is held in the Parish Church of St Giles where parents are warmly invited to attend. Our close links with the church are extended into school with a weekly service by the minister.
Parents and legal guardians may exercise their right to withdraw their child from daily acts of worship.
